This weekend saw the final stages of the Women's County Pairs played at Oxford City & County BC in sometimes demanding conditions.

Banbury Central was represented by the pairs of Myra Lewis & Helen Young, and Carole Galletly and Caroline Campion.

Both teams progressed through the quarter finals in the morning by winning against teams from Eitney Town and West Witney by 5 and 7 shots respectively.

in the afternoon unfortunately they were drawn to play against each other. Myra and Helen came out winners in a closely contested game which was all square with one end to play.

Congratulations to all Banbury Central players who have qualified for the final stages of the National Championships, which will be held at Leamington in August. Well done for getting so far and good luck next month.
